HLB Survey of Business Leaders

About HLB Survey of Business Leaders
First launched in 2020, the HLB Survey of Business Leaders is an annual global piece of research, capturing insight into today’s most pressing business issues through conversations with senior executives from mid-market sized companies.
Survey data collection takes place once a year during the final quarter of the calendar year and includes responses from nearly 50 countries across the globe and several sector verticals. Responses are collected via an online platform as well as by telephone.
Our survey findings are used across multiple HLB insights publications. The data is segmented in various ways and used extensively in publications produced across the HLB network.
Now in its fourth consecutive year, we aim to produce valuable insight from and for business leaders from mid-market size companies, that helps navigate today’s challenging business landscape and inform important decision-making.
HLB Survey of Business Leaders 2023 key findings panel discussion
Business leaders are facing an expanding array of risks as the "permacrisis" continues. More than half of surveyed leaders felt the effects of inflation, economic uncertainty, geopolitical risks, rising costs, and interest rates. Despite these challenges, 79% remain confident in their organisation's ability to grow revenue in the next 12 months.
HLB Global CEO, Marco Donzelli is joined by a panel of subject matter experts as they explored the human side of leadership and what it takes to successfully lead through the perfect storm. They discussed questions around the essential behaviours required by CEOs today, how to connect the dots between purpose beyond financial gain and competitive advantage, and various angles on ESG matters.
