About Pablo Maldonado

Pablo Maldonado is Managing Partner of HLB Puebla and leads its Audit and Risk Management practice. With more than 25 years of experience, he specialises in national and international audits, risk management, and the development and integration of internal controls and accounting processes.

Throughout his career, Pablo has held senior positions at firms including BDO and RSM, where his experience included business design, audit and financial reporting projects. He has also been a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Commission (CONAA) of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants. From 1998 to 2022, Pablo combined his professional practice with university teaching in auditing and risk management.

Pablo is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of HLB Mexico. He is also a member of the HLB International Executive Committee, contributing to the strategic direction and development of the global network.

Pablo holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from UDLAP and a Master’s degree in Tax Law from UPAEP.
