About Michael Bohling

Michael Bohling is Chief Executive Officer at HLB Gross Collins in Atlanta, USA. A Certified Public Accountant and Global Chartered Management Accountant, he brings extensive experience across both public accounting and private industry to his leadership of the firm.

Michael specialises in audit, advisory, and assurance services, with expertise spanning internal control reviews, strategic consulting and broader business advisory. He also leads the firm’s Construction practice, advising contractors on the financial and operational challenges facing the sector, including bonding and surety requirements, project finances and long-term business planning.

Prior to HLB Gross Collins, Michael served as Vice President of Finance for a $500m company in Georgia, giving him valuable first-hand insight into the financial challenges faced by business leaders.

Michael is a member of the HLB International Executive Committee, where he contributes to the strategic direction and development of the global network. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Kennesaw State University and has also previously served four years in the United States Air Force.
