About Dayton Benway

Dayton joined HLB as our Chief Regional Officer for North America in 2025. In 2026, to reflect HLB’s enhanced focus on the value members experience his title moved from Chief Regional Officer, NA to Chief Network Engagement Officer. He will continue with his North America region responsibilities in addition to a more global focus.

With 25 years of industry experience and over a decade in executive leadership, Dayton has a proven record of driving organisational success. He most recently served six years as Managing Partner of Baker Newman Noyes, a top 100 accounting firm headquartered in Portland, Maine and member of the HLB Global Advisory and Accounting Network.

Dayton is known for his results-oriented leadership, ability to implement innovative strategies, and commitment to operational excellence. He excels at fostering collaborative, high-performing teams and building inclusive environments where individuals and organisations can thrive.
