About Dr Christopher Whittle
Christopher has more than 30 years’ experience with practical knowledge of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) advisory and training. He is a pragmatic leader with experience in executive positions across the Middle East and Africa; currently Director of ESG & Risk Advisory at HLB CBS South Africa.
He holds a doctorate in Public Governance and Management from the University of Johannesburg and an MBL from the University of South Africa. Christopher is a member of the elite panel of consultants of the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA), and as a Certified GRI Sustainability Professional has co-authored several articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
Christopher is an internationally sought after training facilitator in ESG and Enterprise Risk Management and has consulted in the field for over 15 years. He has served on risk and audit committees and as a director, and has advised clients across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Indian subcontinent.
